Shop and Save this Diwali

Context:
(This is my cartoon published in 'Sakal' newspaper on October 17, 2011 in the Financial Supplement.)

Husband's way for how to shop and save this Diwali (festival of lights) - one of the biggest festivals in India - season.

Translated:
No two side of a coin are same. See, here we go ...

First side:
Wife's friend"Wow, I can't believe your husband has done all the Diwali shopping for you ... you are damn lucky!"
Wife,"Yeah, I am ... he always takes very good care of me and never troubles me."

Second side:
Husband's friend,"Ha ha ... we doing all the Diwali shopping is really cool idea boss."
Husband,"And you know, I have saved so much that in that saved money I can shop for next two Diwalis"

  9. Really a cool cartoon. 'Hey ladies, beware of gentlemen who shop for you' Here's something for the guys, 'Hey guys, this is the cool way to win the hearts of your better halves' Obviously, in the most economical way, the real Indian way. I enjoyed ur post.
